From the Founder

The why.

Miami moves fast. So does every city worth living in. And somewhere between the ambition, the commute, and the overscheduled calendar, the people you actually want to know feel just out of reach.

Set & Social was built for that gap.

We create intimate, curated gatherings for locals, newcomers, creatives, founders, and the LGBTQ+ community — people who are done with surface-level networking and ready for something that actually lasts. Every seat is considered. Every guest list is curated. Every evening is designed to answer the same quiet question: what would make this feel like home?

We are building community across Miami, Wynwood, Brickell, Edgewater, Fort Lauderdale, and Palm Beach County. One table at a time.

The Principles

What we hold true.

Four quiet commitments that shape every dinner, every guest list, every menu, and every introduction we make.

Intentionality

Every gathering is designed for conversation, collaboration, and mutual respect. Nothing accidental — including the silences.

Inclusivity

All genders, sexualities, ethnicities, ages, and abilities. The room is genuinely mixed because that's where the most interesting nights happen.

Connection

We design for the moment after the introduction — the second conversation, the follow-up text, the friendship that outlasts the event.

Community

We uplift local artists, chefs, and small businesses in every city we host. Every event puts money back into the people who make a place interesting.

Philosophy

Food is how we connect.

Rather than meeting at a restaurant and ordering separately, we collaborate directly with local chefs across Miami, Fort Lauderdale, and Palm Beach County who design menus around the theme of each gathering. The whole table eats the same thing, shares the same moments, and leaves on the same beat.

Cost stays predictable. Local culinary talent gets the spotlight. And the meal itself becomes part of the connection — not just its backdrop.
